Kindness Day is aimed at getting children into the habit of being kind to the people in their worlds and begin to turn around the negativity and child abuse that have haunted Wairarapa in past years. The hope is that kind children will become kind adults and kind parents, and that Kindness Day, which is linked to the Campaign for a Violence Free Wairarapa, will spread “like a wonderful virus”.
